The process for setting up your WhatsApp business account is managed via Meta, through your Meta business account (login through Facebook) . It’s a step-by-step guided process, which needs to be completed by an admin for your Facebook business account. 

You need to begin this process through the button in your Movement account settings:  


Settings > Account Setup > Meta account setup > Login with Facebook 




❗Please be aware of these common issues, which can cause errors and delays with this process: 


  • The process needs to be completed by an admin for your Facebook business account. Only someone with this level of access will have the correct permissions to complete the process. Please check this before you get started.

  • You need to initiate the process via MovementSettings > Account Setup > Meta account setup > Login with Facebook 

  • When you get added to the Business Portfolio, it needs to be under the following section at the top, under "People", with full control, rather than being added to a specific page: 



  • The business verification is under Security Centre (not Meta Verified): 



  • Within the process, you'll have the option to use an existing account/phone number or to create new - you'll need to choose the option to create a new account with a new number
